General Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. Purpose
1.1. These General Conditions aim to regulate the terms and conditions governing the provision of the Nursing Care Online Store service.
1.2. By browsing this website, the User agrees to be bound by the online sales conditions described below, which apply exclusively to online sales made to registered customers.
1.3. Nursing Care reserves the right to freely amend the online sales conditions without prior notice.
1.4. Nursing Care maintains this website for the exclusive use of “registered customers,” understood to mean only those customers who have submitted a registration request and have been granted access credentials (login) to the website.
2. Products
2.1. The images illustrating each product on the Nursing Care website may differ from the product delivered, and products are also subject to stock availability.
2.2. Nursing Care does not sell defective products or products of lower quality than market standards.
2.3. The main characteristics of each product are described on the respective page at www.nursingcare.pt.
2.4. The products offered for sale on www.nursingcare.pt may not correspond exactly, in image or color, to the actual products, due to the browser and monitor used.
3. Prices
3.1. All prices shown in the Nursing Care online store do not include the applicable VAT.
3.2. Shipping fees are applied per order.
3.3. The exact shipping cost depends on the final value of the order. For more information about shipping costs by country, please consult the “Shipping and Rates” page.
3.4. Free shipping may apply to orders exceeding the minimum amount defined on the website, depending on the country or active promotions.
3.5. Prices are indicated in euros (€), and the customer should note that shipping costs may vary depending on the destination country.
3.6. The total price displayed at checkout includes taxes and transportation costs.
3.7. Prices are fixed at the time of order confirmation. The customer must pay only the exact amount indicated in the confirmation and make separate payments for each order.
3.8. Price Changes
Nursing Care reserves the right to change prices without prior notice.
3.9. Pricing Errors
Despite all precautions, pricing errors may occur.
If the actual price is lower than the advertised price, Nursing Care will refund the difference.
If the actual price is higher, the customer will be informed by email and may either accept the new price or cancel the order within 15 calendar days of the notification.
4. Orders
4.1. To place an order on www.nursingcare.pt, the user must have an email account and a browser configured to accept cookies and pop-ups to use all online store features.
4.2. All orders are subject to stock availability.
4.3. Nursing Care strives to ensure that all items available on the website are in stock.
4.4. How to order:
Register as a Nursing Care customer;
Wait for a registration confirmation email;
Log in and add desired products to the cart;
Review the order;
Complete the purchase;
Wait for the order status update;
Make the payment;
Receive the order.
4.5. By submitting the order form, the customer accepts the general purchase conditions and other applicable terms available at www.nursingcare.pt, including the Terms of Use.
4.6. Submitting an order does not guarantee product reservation.
4.7. Right to Refuse or Cancel an Order
Nursing Care reserves the right not to accept or to cancel orders, even after automatic confirmation, particularly when:
– the product is out of stock;
– payment has not been received within 5 working days of acceptance;
– there is a pricing error;
– delivery cannot be made to the specified country.
In such cases, the customer will be informed by email and, if payment has already been made, it will be refunded.
5. Payment
5.1. After order confirmation, an email will be sent containing all details regarding delivery, invoicing, payment, products, and amounts.
5.2. If the customer does not receive this email, they should contact Nursing Care via info@nursingcare.pt or by phone at (+351) 262 921 393.
5.3. Customers are advised to verify all order details.
5.4. If any information is incorrect or incomplete and the order has not yet been shipped, the customer must contact Nursing Care as soon as possible.
5.6. Orders will only be processed after payment has been received, which must occur within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the order date.
5.7. The information provided will be used solely for purposes related to the purchase or return, or when required by law.
6. Order Security
Nursing Care cannot be held liable for damages resulting from the use of electronic communication means, including failures, delays, interceptions, or viruses.
7. Shipping and Delivery
7.0. Orders will be shipped after payment confirmation, within 1 to 3 working days, depending on the country of origin of the transfer.
Main delivery times:
– Mainland Portugal: 24 to 48 working hours
– Madeira and Azores: 5–12 working days
– Mainland Spain: around 4 working days
– Europe: around 6 working days
– Rest of the world: around 7 working days
The indicated times are estimates and may vary during promotions or Christmas periods.
7.3. Deliveries are made on working days, between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., without prior appointment.
7.4. Delivery is considered completed once the delivery receipt is signed at the indicated address.
7.5. Nursing Care is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure.
7.6. It is the customer’s responsibility to collect the orders and pay any customs fees.
7.9. After shipment, the customer will receive an email containing the tracking number for the order.
7.12. Inspection upon Delivery
The customer must check the condition of the products upon delivery.
If damage is detected, the customer must:
– immediately return the goods to the carrier, stating the reason on the delivery note;
– notify Nursing Care via email at info@nursingcare.pt.
8. Non-receipt
8.1. In the event of a failed delivery attempt due to the recipient’s absence, the carrier will leave a notice in the customer’s mailbox with instructions.
8.2. If, for any reason, the customer cannot receive or collect the order at the indicated location, they must contact Nursing Care to find an appropriate solution.
8.3. Any complaint regarding non-receipt must be made within a maximum of 30 days from the order date. After this period, Nursing Care cannot be held responsible for the loss.
9. Cancellation
9.1. In accordance with current legislation, the customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the products.
9.2. Cancellation before shipping:
The customer may cancel the order before it is shipped by contacting info@nursingcare.pt or (+351) 262 921 393.
If the order has already been shipped, the customer may refuse delivery or return the items according to the rules below.
10. Exchanges and Returns
10.1. All returns must be previously communicated to Nursing Care.
10.2. Returns of new items are accepted provided that:
– the item and its packaging are in perfect condition;
– the product shows no signs of use;
– socks with opened packaging seals will not be accepted.
10.3. For used items, exchanges are allowed only in cases of manufacturing defects or abnormal deterioration.
10.4. Returned items must include the reason for return and the invoice number.
10.5. The maximum return period is 3 months from the invoice date, subject to approval by Nursing Care.
11. Return Procedure
Send an email to info@nursingcare.pt indicating the invoice number and reason for return.

Failure to comply with these conditions will result in non-acceptance of the return, and collection will be the responsibility of the customer.

13. Liability
Nursing Care shall only be liable for damages suffered by the customer when such damages result directly from willful misconduct or gross negligence in the performance of its contractual obligations.
14. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
These General Conditions and any disputes arising therefrom are governed by Portuguese law, in particular Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of 14 February, as amended by Law No. 47/2014 of 28 July.
Any conflict will be submitted to the competent Portuguese court.
In the event of a consumer dispute, the customer may resort to the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform or to the Consumer Conflict Arbitration Center:

15. Data Protection
Nursing Care is committed to protecting the privacy and security of its customers’ personal data.
The data collected are used exclusively by group companies, with the aim of providing a service suited to each customer’s needs, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
